Circulation Services

Library cards are free, but you must have a current Texas state issued ID with your correct local address on it. If you have recently moved here, then please bring something with your current local address such as a utility bill, or other form of ID with your current address. We do require a current mailing address as well if you are not able to receive mail at your local address. There is a $3.00 charge to replace your library card if it is lost. Children between the ages of 5 and 17 will need a parent or guardian’s signature to obtain a library card.

Books, audios, videos and DVDs are checked out for a two-week period. All items may be renewed two times either by phone, online, or in person, unless there is a wait list for the item. You may check out up to 3 items on your first visit. When you bring those back on time and in good condition, you may then check out up to 6 items per card. There is a limit of 6 DVDs per household.

Fines are as follows:

  • 25¢ per day, per book/audio
  • $1.25 per day per DVD

We have a night drop on our front porch for your convenience.
