Supporting Your Library

How to get involved? Join the Friends of the Springtown Public Library!

Friends of the Library is an active group made up of local citizens who have an interest in the library and want to see the library succeed and grow.  The group meets several times a year to plan events or fund raisers.  Most of the money the Friends raise go to purchase new children's books and programs.  Every year the new Texas Bluebonnet Books are bought using funds from the Friends of the Library.  In September of 2007, the Friends bought a new book drop after the move to the library's new location.   For information on becoming a Friend of the Library, contact the library staff at the Springtown Public Library or call 817-523-5862.  Applications are at the library at 626 N. Main St.
